Archolia Chapter 68 - The Knight

Moments later, Ivan enters the forest to hunt food for himself and the castle.
Ivan emerges a few hours later with a few slices of meat from a wild boar and an injury to his side from being mauled by a second boar.
Ivan’s injury is not very bad, so he delivers the meat to the castle; storing it in the queen’s larder.
Ivan prepares a small stew from some of the boar meat.
Ivan returns to the forest a second time to get meat for himself.  He’s able to get some meat, but the physical act of hunting  and cutting the meat has exasperated his injury.  He will need to see the Bloodletter in the morning.  For now, he heads to the barracks and goes to bed.
Ivan wakes first thing in the morning, barely able to move.
He starts out for the clinic.  It is pretty early in the morning.  He is not sure if the Bloodletter will even be awake.
Ivan sees that the clinic is quiet.  Even if the Bloodletetr is awake, Ivan is not sure that he will want to even assist him.  From what he as heard, the Bloodletter took the breakup from the queen quite hard.  Ivan is sure that Gavin blames him for the heartbreak.
There are other patients waiting when Ivan enters the waiting room, but the Bloodletter and nurse are no where to be seen.
In fact, they are still fast asleep upstairs.
Ivan decides to return later.  For now, he has business to attend to at the docks.
Ivan expected to see lots of people down on the beach this morning.  He thought for sure that people would want to get an early start on their fishing.
As he approaches, he sees that there are not many people there at all.
He does happen to overhear a couple of gentlemen discussing how successful they were during the last tournament.  Ivan approaches them for advice on catching the biggest fish. First he speaks with fisherman Barney.  Fisherman Barney refuses to give Ivan any advice until Ivan pays him with a large bowl of eel stew.
Ivan would rather begin fishing, than go through the pain of catching an eel and preparing a stew.  He approaches Marlon for advice.
“I hear that you caught the biggest fish in the last fishing tournament.  Do you think you can offer me a bit of sound advice?”  Ivan asks hopefully.
“Sure!  Deliver me an apple and I will tell you all that I know,” Marlon offers.

“Only an apple?”  Ivan says.  “I can do that!”
Ivan decides to take a trip to town later to purchase an apple.  Right now, he wants to see the Bloodletter.
